Delhi to host – Champions Trophy 2011

33rd Men’ Champions Trophy will be held in New Delhi around 1st to 11th of December this year.

However actual days and schedule of tournament will be decided after FIH president Leandro Negre had a meeting with with sports minister Ajay Maken and Hockey India (HI) officials.
After Last year’s highly successful World Cup, FIH recently committed six of its major events to India over a four-year period as a part of its campaign to re-energise hockey in the country.

    its good that India is hosting hockey tournaments. this will help in building back the confidence and image of hockey in Indian youth…….
