The previous three matches of Women’s Hockey team India in Bilateral series at Malaysia were fantastic. The team was fully confident to give their best shots in the fourth match as well. Both the teams well played but unable to score goals in the first three quarters and then in the very last minutes of the match, team India scored a goal and leaded the match with score INDIA 1-0 MALAYSIA and the score of the 5 match bilateral series is 3-0.
Below are the highlights of the match:
Quarter 1 – India team was awarded the PC in the early minutes of the match, but missed the goal. After a couple of minutes, another PC was with team India but each shot missed. Team Malaysia was playing well to get the goal scored first but missed. So, the score at the end of the first quarter was INDIA 0-0 MALAYSIA.
Quarter 2 – Both the teams were focused on scoring the first goal. Players were giving best shots but failed to score even a single goal. This was the first time in this series that not even a single goal was scored by any of the team in the first half. So, the score at the end of the second quarter remained the same INDIA 0-0 MALAYSIA.
Quarter 3 –Team India got PC in the early minutes of the third quarter, but the great takes were saved by Malaysian goalkeeper. Both the teams played defensive and this quarter also ended without any goal and the score remained the same NDIA 0-0 MALAYSIA.
Quarter 4 – Again India got the PC in the final quarter but no shots were made in the early minutes. But then another PC and another goals missed and then at the last minutes Lalremsiami gave a fantastic shot in the 55th minute and scored a goal by finally making the score as INDIA 1-0 MALAYSIA. In the last minutes, Team Malaysia also got PC but no goal scored and India leaded the match this time again.
