Sir–why has late Amir Kumar, double gold medal winner in 1948 and 1956 not been included in this esteemed list??
His wife should be given the honour–I can help contact her.
Also that she is extremely needy and all such help would be welcome.
Dear udaijit,
I completely Agree with you and I will try to do myself best by publishing your concern on net so that our the voice can reach to those who run Hockey in India. But this is India and you know everything done has some political reasons.
I am just a Fan of Hockey like you and trying to promote our national game as much as possible through net.
Mr. Amir Kumar, who was also two time gold medalist of the Indian hockey team should be included in this list! he is no more but this honour shud be given posthumously to his wife Mrs. Mehroo Kumar.
Dear Priti,

just 2 Lack each…. this is totally unfair… cricket play with Millions and hockey players are treated like beggars..
hockey is our national sport. y is it not getting the due respect. all of them including aamir kumar’s wife should get at least 10 lakh each. the cricketers are getting this much as match fees directly or indirectly. these all have made us feel proud. they gave so much to indian hockey and also world hockey and now it’s time for hockey to pay them back. jai hind jai hockey
